It is pretty cool to see and browse through websites that refer people to my site. I am thankful that another one popped up recently http://smartcanucks.ca. A shout out to user "ashling" for posting. I am very, very happy you are pleased with my CD's and I hope they found you well!

The rest of the cd's are shipping today! Woot! And for those in Canada, I may have already written about it, but in my concerts I always say "God bless the US... but God BLESS Canada!" I've had more radio play up there with CBC Digital then anywhere else. And in turn, BMI get's me money so I can continue to...    Finish Reading This Entry »

What can I say... other than WOW! The free CD promotion in just 7 days gave almost 2000 CD's away. The first few days were manageable and then BAM= We were receiving orders at a rate of almost 1 per minute. Then the huge backlog ensued. When we took the website down on the weekend, we thought there would be some CD's left. Then, by Tuesday of this week, we performed an inventory and realized that we were sold out early Saturday, June 6.

Based on web traffic and other factors before the promotion, I figured it would potentially take a month to give the CD's out. We had lined up some businesses...    Finish Reading This Entry »

Officially in the Studio!

Finally,

I am in the studio working on pre-production. I've got my song list which is posted below. Now, I'm just setting up the tempo tracks, making instrument decisions on each song, auditioning vocalists in Denver and Nashville for the lyrical songs, finalizing lyrics and being very excited about this album!

So, this is technically my third album, but really it's my second. The Salus CD is basically a "band" between Todd Kelly and myself. We lock ourselves in the studio and just record off the top of our heads and get some very fascinating creative results. So, this is my second...    Finish Reading This Entry »

Bad Habits Part 1

Long about age 27, my metabolism slowed down - my knees began to fail - and my back started causing nagging pain. Safe to say, it was the first sign that I was getting older. Since then, I've moved around, had some life experiences and found myself with a big ole pot belly. Now, It's not actually huge... but large enough that it's noticeable. So, one day I walked up my stairs and got to my door and noticed I was breathing deeply. That's bad. Then I noticed that I had been hard at work at a few projects working 70-100 hour weeks since November 2008. Basically, I was bed ridden as far as exercise...    Finish Reading This Entry »

Liverpool

I follow the Premier League (Soccer) more so than I do US football or any other sport here in the States. A close second, but number one for twenty some odd years of my life, was NCAA Basketball (GO UNC TARHEELS, BOO DUKE :) ). But, the team I follow every week and move my schedule around so I can watch is Liverpool. Call me a band-wagoner and maybe that is a little correct... but I actually fell in love with the clubs history and its saying, "You'll Never Walk Alone." And, it was the coaching...    Finish Reading This Entry »
