When a year passes go and we collect our $200 of debt, it is the obvious time to reflect on one's life. Whether we do so because our conditioning is so rigid or the psychological effects of winter weather kick in - at least it aims itself in a positive view to use this time to make changes. We garner such a huge amount of "this will be the year" that infects our brains so rapidly that after only a couple of short months later, that conviction has waned. I too struggle from this condition and even applied reverse psychology on myself - "This year I will gain 20 lbs and eat bacon for every meal."... Finish Reading This Entry »

It's 1:00am and I just got back from the post David Lanz concert. It was a complete honor playing for him and I am privileged to have had the opportunity. The concert was simply beautiful and an insane amount of fun! Unfortunately, the video feed croaked during my playing... but the audio is there. The video guy said he would try to salvage as much as he could and will send it to me (along with some pictures)... so we'll see. I was hoping it would be a good first YouTube vid. We'll see...

Hello All! Right now I'm diggin' on photographers. Another one has started using my music on her site. She is a phenomenal photographer and I am also lucky enough to call her a friend. Around 1999-2000, while working with my promoter, we googled my name to see what it showed. At the time, I was nowhere to be found. However, there was a “Chad Beall” in Colorado who played guitar for a band named “Turnsol.” So, my promoter said one of the first things we needed to do was to kick him off of the front page. And with my marching orders, I began the journey. I hired web developers at the time to 1: make my website and 2: make me take over the front page with Search Engine Optimization.
